There is so much happening right now regarding our work. We have pursued a couple options outside of our present job to see if they might be a better situation for us. One job - in Cooke City, MT - was eliminated as there were no cell services available in the entire area. The second one is being pursued as a viable option - Malibu Beach RV Resort - and we are still talking with them as a real possibility. There are lots of good features about it, but less money.
We have a meeting with our operations manager today to discuss possible transfers within the Grand Teton Association. That is another option we are looking at. The problem with that is there really is only one location that we would want to switch to from our present location. There are different problems with that location. Anyway, it appears that we have a choice of sticking it out where we are for the remainder of the summer, or leave and go to Malibu, CA. It is a tough decision.
The wildfires are under control in our area even though there is still some lingering haze. Hopefully, it will all go away soon.
One of the tasks for today is to take my cross stitch entry to the Teton County Fair after work. It is that time of the year, and I hope to defend my title that I've had for three years now. It is always fun to participate in that environment. I will know if I won again by this time next week...
