The storm that hid the mountains for almost two days is gone. The clear, crisp views of the mountains have returned and the forecast is for clear weather over the next 7 days. This is the view yesterday AM on our way to work:
And this was the view from our work location:
It looked like the Grand Teton (highest of the peaks) is having a volcanic eruption. It was the only cloud in the sky coming off the top. It was very obvious that the mountains received a new layer of snow.
The fact that snow can fall and accumulate any day of the year was proven with this storm that occurred in the middle of July.
One of the couples at work - the one that is experiencing their very first workamping experience - gave notice on Monday that they were leaving. It is tough work, and is a job that can turn any workamping couple against the lifestyle. For us, the experience at Amazon.com was the real test.
Our final day of work before our three day weekend is today - finally. After 11 days of working with only a single day off in the middle is coming to a close. We plan to do some driving to a couple familiar areas along with just relaxing one of the days. We are looking forward to 4:15 PM today...
