Stormy Day

We didn't leave for work until 10:15 yesterday AM and just before we left we had a huge storm. The rains were heavy and they were preceded by some heavy hail. This was the scene outside our rig as we got ready to leave:

The entire day was stormy off and on, and there were times when the cloud cover completely hid the mountains. We felt sorry for the folks who were only in town for a day and didn't get any good views of these spectacular mountains. It's the luck of the draw, I guess.

The storms were present most of the day, and by the time we left work at 7:15, there was a brief clearing and we could finally see the mountains again:

The forecast is for more rain today, but clearing by tonight.

Our day begins at 8:45 AM today, and we have three more days this week before our scheduled three day weekend. We are still trying to put together a schedule for our off days, so we hope to have some news on that by tomorrow...
