Scottsdale Search

The main objective for yesterday was to do a drive around in areas within Scottsdale that might appeal to Patty and her family when they move to the area. It also would have to be an area that would be convenient to Mark's new employment location. The biggest problem we faced was that many - if not most - of the nice, desirable areas were in gated communities and we had no access.

We did locate Patty and Mark's vacation home that they once owned in Scottsdale and was the home where Nan resided for some time. This shot was taken by Patty as a reminder of the home:

It was a nice home and brought back some fond memories.

There are several areas that would be worthy of follow up once they know more about budget and time frame. They will not have any problem locating a suitable area and nice home when the time comes.

We drove south to the Arcadia area of Phoenix to visit the AJ's store where Josie begins her new job next week. We met her new manager (Brynn) and walked around the store. It definitely is a "Fine Foods" store and will be a terrific place to work.

Today, we must take Patty to the airport to catch her flight home 😢. We had a terrific time together while she was here and will miss her until she can return again. The tentative plan is for her to return at Thanksgiving with the whole family. That would be wonderful if we can make that happen...
