PGA Tournament

The final major tournament (PGA Championship) of the season on the PGA Tour is wrapping up today. After the third round yesterday, the drama is building as several big names are in contention. The biggest surprise is that one of them is Tiger Woods. Just when everybody thinks he is on the downside of his career, he reaches down and has a great chance to win his 15th major tournament of his career at age 42. He handles pressure better than anyone who ever played the game. Actually, my personal favorites are Rickie Fowler - never won a major tournament but always is near the top finishers - and Justin Thomas - to make it consecutive PGA Tournament wins. I'll be watching, for sure.

Josie is working again today and will have worked 7 straight days since joining AJ's before getting a day off on Wednesday. It is probably good that she has this stretch of working days as she gets to use  her new knowledge while still fresh in her mind. The different hours have also served to test the best commuting hours and days for future scheduling. Of course, the weekends are always the best time to travel the freeways and she can make it to work in about 45 minutes.

It is nice that we got a break - as short as it seems - from the monsoon madness of the last week or so. I understand that more storms are possible over the next several days so I hope they are weak ones...
