Day Full of Activities

Josie had her bone density tests performed in the morning yesterday. Of course, we have to wait on those results. From that appointment, we went to Fry's to check on a couple charges for vaccinations that our new doctor has prescribed. Two of the three were either not necessary or cost prohibitive. The third one was received last week and was the first of two pneumonia shots. While we were there, we decided to get our 2019 flu shots to get those out of the way. The shot for this year is the same as last year's as there was little change in the strains that are identified.

We then went to the AJ's store in Glendale to talk to the manager about lining up a transfer for Josie. The manager wasn't there, but it didn't seem to matter. The store is smaller than the one where she currently works and the floral department is only staffed by two individuals - the manager and one other employee who talked to Josie. It doesn't seem like a situation that would match Josie's needs at the moment as the person there now has no immediate plans to leave anytime soon. So, it's back to perhaps looking at other options, or sticking it out where is now located.

Following a stop at the store to pick up some groceries, we went home and relaxed the rest of the day and I did pork chops in the Instant Pot for dinner. Hmm, good...
