Close the Oven

With all of the activities we have scheduled this week, it figures that the oven door would be open. We set a record yesterday and we will be close to records on several days this week. In fact, 8 of the next 10 days are forecast to be over 100 with the other two days in the high 90's. I hope we can get most of the physical activities accomplished in the cooler mornings. It's just the roll of the dice that we are having all of this activity at a bad time. It could always be worse though. We could be living in the Midwest where the tornados are already taking a toll.

Our final walk-thru at the house is at 4:30 this afternoon. I will pick up Josie at 4 PM from work and head to the house. This will probably be our final visit to the house before closing on Thursday. Between now and Thursday, we will make sure we have all the reservations and activities finalized to make for a smooth transition. The projected departure date for Jackson is May 16 or 17, depending on how things go.

That's about all there is to say right now as we gear up for the stretch run...
