Smoke is Everywhere

Our trip to Idaho Falls yesterday was successful. At least it was from the standpoint that we accomplished our goals for the day. The Escape was serviced at the Ford dealership in Idaho Falls after only about a one hour wait and we picked up everything on our shopping lists at Sam's Club and Walmart.

All day, we drove through haze that was evidence of the wildfires burning all over the West. The smoke was probably as bad as we have ever seen it in this area. No part of eastern Idaho or western Wyoming has been spared. I'm sure that all of this smoke will impact tourism. Hopefully, it will disappear in time for the Eclipse that is less than two weeks away.

We have no plans for today - our second day off this week - as the smoke in this area is so bad that it affects breathing which is already made more difficult from the higher elevation. Any more physical activity than normal would only create more problems. So, we will just do our chores around the RV and relax for the day...
