Nursing Cold

The day after the total eclipse was spent - for me, at least - recovering from a severe cold that has me voiceless and congested. Josie did laundry and some crocheting while I did pretty much nothing except take medications and rest.

Our schedule today includes a trip to Idaho Falls. Josie needs work done on her hair and we will stop at Sam's Club and Walmart to pick up some medications and other items that we buy to replenish our stock  - mostly paper products. It looks like a nice day to drive to Idaho, so we will leave fairly early so that we can back at a decent time to still enjoy some of the day outside.

There is still a lot of talk on the local news about the eclipse yesterday and how it went so smoothly with all the preparation and planning that was done. There were no serious accidents or deaths reported anywhere in our area, so that was good news. The photos are still coming out that show different views of the event. One of my favorites is a time lapse video, taken from atop Josie's Ridge in town, that shows all of Jackson Hole going from daylight to darkness and back to daylight. It would be cool if I could somehow get a hold of that video.

Anyway, have a nice day everybody...
