Idaho Wildfires

We heard about several more wildfires that have started in Idaho. Most of that activity is in northern Idaho, but the weather and Jetstream brings the effect of those wildfires into Wyoming. We have haze now that is becoming worse with these new fires. This shot was taken this AM of the mountains which are being covered by this haze:

We also get our "usual" low fog every morning which always lifts by around 8 AM. We seem to get this haze from wildfires out west every year at about this time.

Our final day off for the week was spent doing chores around the RV. Josie did laundry and I replaced burned out bulbs and repaired our shower hose which needed attachment to the shower stall. It is back to work again today.

The real "concern" for us now - and for the next several weeks - is the eclipse and its impact on our area. Every day, the discussions get more and more pointed about traffic control and other effects of having an additional 100K people in town for this event. The word is that the town will experience gridlock for the week before and the week after. It will be something that we have never experienced before and we are excited to be part of the whole activity...
