Haze is Leaving

All of the rain and wind that we've had over the last several days has just about cleared out the haze from all the wildfires. Below are a couple shots that were taken this morning from our RV:

We aren't quite there yet, but it's nice to see the mountains again. All of our out of town visitors are also happy to see the clearing. With a week to go before the eclipse, we are hoping that it becomes totally clear.

Progress is being made in putting together the plans for our winter season. We will be ready to tell you all about them in a few days. There are some details to work out regarding dates and other details relating to our RV. It will all become clear when we get everything lined up. It is something we have wanted to do for many years and will be an experience to beat all if we can put it all together..

We open the Visitor Center again this morning and then work the late shift tomorrow before getting Tuesday and Wednesday off. The crowds are beginning to grow as we get closer to the big day next Monday - Eclipse Day...
