Rush Rush Rush

It seems like we just got home and got ready for bed. It was 7:30 when we arrived home from work and we went to bed at 8:30 after watching the news that we had taped at 5:30. It is after 7 AM and we need to leave for work at 7:40. This one day per week of the quick turnaround is tough. We would not do it if it were more than once a week.

The schedule for working on the eclipse day was released yesterday. We will work from 7 AM until 3:30 on the big day. With the eclipse occurring between about 9:30 and 11:30, it promises to be a very interesting day. The Visitor Center will close for one half hour during the time that the total eclipse is to occur. Nobody can say, with any assurance, what the day will bring. The closer we get to the actual day, the more mystery is added to what will really happen in town. The big day is 16 days from now...
