Protests

It was almost unbelievable to see all the protests and number of women across the country marching against President Trump. Although they don't all admit to marching against Trump, the bottom line is that is the reason. I saw a post on Facebook that caught my eye "Trump got more fat women walking in one day than Michelle Obama did in 8 years". Thank goodness, they were all peaceful protests. I also heard that yesterday, congress passed a sizable pay raise for our military and the road is now cleared to replace Obamacare when a suitable replacement can be offered. It looks like things are beginning to happen that will fulfill some of the promises offered during the campaign.

The weather forecasts kind of missed the mark yesterday. It was suppose to rain most of the day but we had sunshine instead. It is still very cool for this area, but I'm sure we will see some warming fairly soon. There is no question that this has been a very wet winter season and that the drought is being removed in many areas that have been suffering for years. That is very good news.

Our day was quiet yesterday. We took a drive to Surprise where Josie got her hair cut and we also made a stop at the store to pick up some things. I missed the football games yesterday as I discovered that both Championship games will be played today. That pretty much sets up my schedule for today. Tonight we will know the Super Bowl contenders...
