Attention to Draft

First of all, I wanted to mention that yesterday was the one year anniversary of our daughter Tracy's death. We know she is in a better place and is looking down on us with a smile on her face. God bless you Tracy, you are missed.

I saw an article that was a mock draft of players for the NFL which is coming up in April. I was surprised and happy to see that Western Michigan University star Corey Davis is projected to go 13th - to the Arizona Cardinals. He was Austin's roommate at the University for the first two years they were there, and is a special person. I hope the draft projection is right-on and Corey gets the opportunity he deserves. The logic for the Cardinals is that Larry Fitzgerald will retire soon and they need another Wide Receiver to replace Michael Floyd who was released following his DUI last season. Another WMU player, Taylor Moton, a lineman, is projected to be drafted by the Denver Broncos in the third round. I expected to see their Quarterback, Zach Terrell, selected in the first three rounds, but we will have to wait and see on that one. These are only projections and we know that anything can happen between now and the draft.

The weather still sucks. It is way too cool and wet for an Arizona winter. We can't wait for some nice weather so we can be outside again...
