A Tough Winter

I saw a post on Facebook that put the Jackson, WY, winter in perspective. The Virginian Lodge - where we worked for four years in Jackson - was just about buried in snow. This shot was one of three that was in that post:

That is the courtyard of the Lodge and behind the hedge in the picture is the swimming pool. We certainly can be thankful that we don't have anything that looks like that in our area. The problem up there is that it doesn't get warm enough to melt any of the snow, and probably won't until at least late February or early March.

Speaking of weather, we don't have the rain now, but it has been replaced with high winds. Last night we had a rock'n roll night that had the RV shaking. It is a regular occurrence here, but we would like to see some warm sunshine and calm days. They must be on the way.

This day has started just like every other day in the last week - controversy over something Trump did or said. I don't know when the hatred will end, but, I for one, am getting tired of hearing all the negative press...
