Inauguration Notes

I keep reading and hearing on TV about Liberals boycotting and bad-mouthing the Trump Inauguration scheduled for Friday. The real sad part is the trashing by our government representatives - namely, Congressman Lewis - who doesn't believe that Trump is a legitimate President. He will never pay any price for his attitude as his constituency is mostly black and Democrat anyway. At a time when the country is trying to unite and regain positive direction, we have these losers that are throwing up roadblocks that don't seem to want to accept America's choice. I saw where several singers have opted out of performing at the Inauguration as a result of death threats. Doesn't sound very American, does it?

As the Inauguration and Trump's Tweets are consuming the news, it doesn't seem like a happy occasion that we are finally seeing Obama walk out the door for good. I am hoping that time will cure the ills and we can see some real progress soon to certify the choice that America has made for our President. The only people that won't be happy are the freeloaders that might have to find a real job after Trump removes the free ride. Enough on politics.

We are moving forward with conversations with prospective future employers. There are some that want us to begin work before our commitment begins in Wyoming. That creates some other considerations that we aren't sure we want to deal with yet - namely, mail forwarding issues and the status of our space here at the Pioneer RV Resort. Those issues will be discussed and evaluated this week. In the meantime, we will be making sure that all is in order if we should make a decision to accept an offer prior to May. There are changes being made in this new year at Josie's shop that may impact the time frame we have. Business is slow and the new pay structure passed in the last election has resulted in hours being cut across the board. Needless to say, Josie is ready for a change...
