We have just about settled on a fence solution and I will probably pick up the material today. There are only a few questions to be answered regarding the anchoring of the panels, and the store salesperson can answer those - I hope.
The weather is perfect - no winds, but hot. The forecast calls for our first 100+ degree day tomorrow, following a forecasted 99 today. It will then cool down into the 80's for a few days so it shouldn't be too bad to work outside.
The stage is set for Josie's long days. She again worked an 8 hour day yesterday, and they will all be at least that long for the next 8 days. The flowers are arriving so the vases that she has greened the last few days will begin to fill up and become full arrangements. There are hundreds of them ready for flowers. It makes it a little easier knowing there is an end in sight following Mother's Day.
The resort is rapidly becoming a ghost town and more and more folks are leaving for cooler climates. There are almost more empty spaces than occupied spaces, but that is the norm for here. Surprisingly, they get a good summer crowd on weekends with the lake being a popular summer "cooling" activity. Actually, we would also be counted among the departed if we didn't have to stay through Mother's Day. Just about everybody that is left is a year-round occupant...
