Of course, yesterday was the beginning of filling the schedule with house related appointments. Starting with opening the Escrow with the title company. We will use the same title company as we used to sell our Glendale home so that we can complete the discount promise made for dual closings with them. Then, we reviewed some Inspection Companies and selected one that is popular in Sun City and scheduled the inspection for Monday, at 1 PM. We will have a review of the results with them at 3:30 PM on Monday.
We have already mentioned the Monday AM meeting we have scheduled with our Mortgage company. There is lots of preparation that we have begun in order to be ready for that meeting.
We have also scheduled a walk-thru with our agent for Saturday morning in order to get some measurements and to refresh our memory about certain areas of the house. We have tentatively identified areas that we intend to upgrade, and need to prioritize our schedule for those improvements. Most of those will also depend on the money situation which will be tight - at least starting out.
There are several other minor items that were taken care of yesterday and the next several weeks promise to be a race to successfully get everything accomplished before the hot, hot summer sets in...
