The big and exciting news from yesterday was from the NFL draft which was televised live from Dallas. Austin's best friend, Troy Fumagalli, was selected in the 5th round at pick #156 by the Denver Broncos:
There was, naturally, a huge party at his house to celebrate his selection and lots of family and friends were there to congratulate him. We are sure that he will shine as a Tight End in the Bronco organization and wish him well.
Josie had to work yesterday until 2 PM which signaled the start of the Mother's Day marathon work schedule. She is off today and will not have a full day off from tomorrow through Mother's Day. Of course, she will have to take small amounts of time off to tend to house business if necessary. We plan to meet at the house this morning at 10 AM to mark the furniture pieces we intend to keep from all that is being left for us to dispose. There aren't that many pieces that we want to keep, but we want to make sure that nothing happens to them as far as being given away between now and closing.
This afternoon, we will look at more Class C motorhomes to try and decide if there is a good option out there for us. We have a good idea about what we want to use as a replacement for our fifth wheel, but we need to make sure we pull it all together with a good trade. Maybe we can zero in on a fit for us and begin the process of making the switch...
