We looked at three homes yesterday. Two of them were in the same development that we had our other home before we lost it with the title issues. Both of those were the same model as the one we lost. One was a dump and the other was a rental that came very close to what we wanted. We made an offer on that home and it was accepted after a small counter offer was made that we accepted. There are few small issues with the home but it is well worth the $7K less that we will pay over the previous one - and it is only three doors down from the other one. It is still on Palmaire Ave (8720) and is in Rovey Farm Estates.

We will meet our agent on our way to the airport this morning to give him the signed addendum (counter Offer Acceptance) and a check for the deposit. That will make it official and the clock begins toward our scheduled closing date of May 28.
It's off to Chicago and a week with our grandkids while Patty and Mark head to Cabo San Lucas for their trip.
