We had a bit of a scare Tuesday night when Josie came home from work and could hardly move her hand. She was in pain every time she tried to twist her wrist and we were wondering what she could have done to hurt herself. She believes that the injury occurred when she tried to force a cooler door closed at work. Anyway, she went into the Urgent Care that her shop uses yesterday AM and it turns out that she strained a ligament in her wrist. Of course, for someone who uses her hands and needs the flexibility in her wrists, it was a long day for her. She was given a wrist wrap and splint to keep the movement at a minimum and this morning it seems to feel much better.
Nothing else of any significance happened yesterday as I also went into work and came home at 9 PM. It was all quiet on the new-home front as I heard nothing from anybody. I guess we are in the phase where work is being done behind the scenes. I made sure yesterday that my work schedule is clear for the projected dates that we will close and move into our home. We have the last five days of April and the first 5 days of May set aside to travel to Chicago to help Patty with the kids while she and Mark take their annual trip with Mark's company. They will go to Cabo San Lucas this year - a real nice place to go, anytime...
