The longer days that we are experiencing as we get closer to summer are impacting our work schedules. The early morning sun is in Josie's face as she drives to work and the entire afternoon that I spend working the entrance at Sam's Club has the sun directly in my face from about 4 PM until the sun goes down at around 6:30. It makes it difficult to even see who is coming through the door. As the sun moves farther north for summer, it will only get worse. We love to have clear, sunny days, but we pay a price for them.
There wasn't much else to say about yesterday except Josie did laundry while I was at work and when I returned home at 9 PM there wasn't much time left in the day.
It also looks like the re-paving project on Carefree highway hasn't ended yet. The lines are long again and the wait can be as long as 20 minutes as they are putting another coat of blacktop on the entire road from our street all the way to I-17 which is about 10 miles away. Just when we thought it was all done, it starts over again. It makes no sense either, as they painted the lines on the road following the initial application and now they are covering those up with the new layer. Go figure.
I have the day off today as Josie works her normal, full day, so it looks like business as usual for today...
