There were two houses that our realtor wanted to show us yesterday. We scheduled both viewings to start at 11:30 AM which would be good enough for Josie to take a long lunch and we would be able to see both houses together.
The first one was just OK, was available at a nice low price, but needed a lot of work to be brought up to our needs. The second one was in much better shape, had great landscaping and a nice pool. The inside was even nicer except that it had a couple flaws. The first was that the family room was small. The second was that it had such an unusual floor plan that it would be difficult for us to use our furniture the way we want. The price of the second home was also at the upper price point that we established.
The end result was that we get to spend our last day before going to Chicago looking at more houses. Eventually, the conditions will be right and we will get the home that God intended for us...
