The first order of business yesterday was to go to the Arrowhead Mall where there is a jewelry repair store that we have used for years to fix our watches, change batteries and clean our rings for free. Josie found her Mickey Mouse watch on the floor between the bed and the window that she has been missing for probably two years. She thought originally that she left it in the Jeep that we sold while in WA state a couple years ago. Of course, it needed a new battery, so now it is like new again.
We also stopped at The Roomstore to see if there might be a small table and chairs that would fit in our kitchen eating area but we didn't find one that appealed to us. I guess that will be put on hold for now.
A neighbor that has been looking at taking over our site whenever we leave the resort stopped by and wanted to know if we were going to sell any of our site amenities. He was initially just interested in the gazebo, but is now interested in everything else also. He and his wife are expected later today to swing by and talk about a price for buying everything except our furniture which would suit us fine.
The final round of the Masters was on tap for the afternoon and it was one of the best Masters tournaments I've ever watched. The young man - Jordan Spieth - led from the beginning and set several records along the way. He is a breath of fresh air for the PGA Tour and a great kid that could, potentially, equal or surpass Tiger Woods as the premier golfer of recent times.
This promises to be a busy week of activities for the new house. We have the inspection results to present to the owners and we will get the appraisal done this week. Along with other paperwork, we hope to get it all but wrapped up this week...
