This is the time when all of the inspections, repairs and appraisal are being done and not much else is visible during this phase of the home purchase. I didn't hear anything from anybody yesterday, so I'm hoping that no news is good news.
I did some research on locating the right cover for our fifth wheel to be used when we place it into storage. There are many choices and none of them are cheap. But, it is a requirement in Arizona with the hot sun to keep your equipment covered and protected from the harmful UV-Rays of the sun. I have narrowed down the choices to a Calmark cover or an ADCO cover - the two most popular brands and ones that have been proven effective. We expect to pay around $500 for a cover which, I guess, isn't unreasonable. Another concern that I have is how it will fare during the monsoon season when the already fierce winds in this area become very destructive. It's a good thing we will be close enough to check on the rig following any serious weather.
Speaking of the winds - we have had four straight days of winds in the 25-30 mph range. We have gotten strong winds in the past, but April, so far, has been the windiest of all this year.
We are getting anxious to get everything done and get moved...
