It was like somebody threw a switch and said "OK, you can start making your reservations now". We had a morning shift that was almost non stop phone calls by people making reservations for everything - cabins, RV sites, storage spaces and tent sites. The thing that made it unusual for us was that a lot of the reservations were by one person wanting multiple sites. With our system, Campground Manager, you have to make each site reservation separately. That makes for a longer process to complete the whole reservation. Our Resort is very nearly full for the season now. It was an otherwise normal day except for all the volume of reservations.
We were off duty by 2:15 and got ready to leave for Surprise and were on the road by 3 PM. Josie took one of her medications while on the trip to Surprise and made it easily to the hotel. Bob went to the local Safeway store to get a pot pie to do in the microwave in the room for his dinner while Josie prepared her Colonoscopy cocktail for her dinner. She needs to be at the clinic by 9:30 this morning for her 10:30 procedure. She'll be glad to get some real food afterward. We booked an extra night at the hotel this time because we really need to finish our project at the old space while we're here.
Till tomorrow...
