The results from Bob's Colonoscopy were good. No visible sign of Colitis and a few benign polyps. That takes care of that for a couple years. We went to Village Inn for food as soon as we left the clinic just before 2 PM. It made it a bit of a challenge to finish our schedule today with the late procedure at the clinic.
We stopped at our storage unit and unloaded another box, went to Josie's doctor office to get some samples of a medication she takes, went to Wal Mart to get one of her prescriptions and some food items and then went to the Happy Trails site for the last time. We were shocked to see that our neighbor (Phyllis) directly across the street had a huge fire that totally destroyed her trailer and did almost total loss damage to her home that was also on the lot. We talked about it with another neighbor (Jim) who we left our keys with. He said that her refrigerator in the trailer sparked and caused an explosion. It happened a couple weeks ago and she was in her home at the time watching an auto race on TV. He said she took her drink over to another neighbor's house while the fire was being put out and watched the rest of the race - I think we probably would have stopped watching the race. Her house was totally renovated six months ago as a result of a faucet leak that flooded the whole place while she was gone last summer. That insurance company is going to drop her for sure! It was sad to leave the place for the last time.
By the time we left Surprise at around 6 PM the temperature showed 105 outside. The range of temps in Happy Jack while we were gone were 80 and 49. It's nice to get back to the nice temps here. We didn't see any elk this time while driving through the forest roads at dusk.
Today's schedule is still up in the air. We definitely are getting a slow start though. Stay tuned..
