It seems like the monsoon season is here early this year. Every day is about the same, weather wise. The days dawn bright and sunny without a cloud in the sky. The clouds start rolling in about noon and by 3 or 4 in the afternoon we get a short storm that dumps a little rain and cools things off about 10 - 15 degrees. Yesterday was just like that - 70 (high) and 35 (low) with .02" of rain in the afternoon. There is definitely more precipitation in this area vs the Phoenix area. We had 2.20" of rain since we arrived in mid May.
We had the afternoon shift yesterday - 1 to 6. After a late breakfast and leisurely morning we went to work and were greeted with our usual Sunday afternoon dumping crowd. The main business on Sunday is the dump, water tank filling and propane. It's a predictable pattern. We stumbled through our closing at the end of the day. This was the first time that we were alone at the closing and it was a bit confusing for awhile. We figured out the reports that needed to be produced and we finally reconciled the cash and credit cards, closed out, and got home about 7 Pm.
Today is an early shift as is tomorrow when Josie needs to begin taking her medicine in preparation for her Colonoscopy that is scheduled for Wednesday AM. Anyone who has had this procedure knows you need to be near the "john" when you start the medicine and it is about a two hour drive to Surprise. We'll see...
