Handling Problems

Sorry for the late post but I've been handling problems all day so far.

First of all, our trip from Mesquite, NV to home was uneventful - thank goodness. We left Mesquite at 8:45 - but lost an hour during the day with the change in time zones. Our arrival at home was at 4:30 PM. We made a stop for gas and also one to check out the new view area that was part of the new highway (I-11) from Vegas (Lake Meade) to Kingman. It was such a pleasant change from the old way of going from Vegas to Kingman. These shots were taken during our stop:

Of course, when we arrived home we had lots to do to get the house open again. There were no major problems except for one small leak from one of our toilets (it occurs only when you flush the toilet) - I have to figure out how to fix that when I get more time.

The effort to jump start the Escape that has been sitting in the garage for 4 months failed. I called AAA to assist - they indicated, after a battery test, that the battery would not hold a charge. I'll go through all the problems we've had in tomorrow's entry. We are going to grab to some lunch and get on with the rest of our day. Tune in tomorrow for updates on the Escape, the truck claim with Progressive Insurance, The Geek Squad appointment I have scheduled for a computer issue and the rest of the "fun" day we've had so far...
