First Step Accomplished

We finally pulled out yesterday AM at around 9 AM. With one stop in Quartzsite for gas, we made it to the Yucaipa Regional Park at 3 PM. It is a beautiful park and one that we would not hesitate to stay in again and to recommend to anybody wanting to stay in this area. Here are some shots of our nice space (#13):

After setting up the satellite and having a bite to eat we enjoyed just sitting out in the beautiful weather and watching the squirrels and birds. We are so glad that we included this stop on our trip.

This morning, we will take the almost 1 hour drive to the Rancho Cucamonga site to disconnect our RV and leave there for the next three days while we attend class in Simi Valley. That will be about another 1.5 hours. We will only have the truck for that segment until we return to pick up the RV again and travel to the Orange County Fairgrounds on Sunday.

The excitement is building and we are ready to go...
