Not a Pretty Win

If you watched the game last night between the Packers and the Cardinals, you saw an ugly representation of top performances. Neither team actually deserved to win the game, although I am happy that the Cardinals have achieved their first goal of making it to the NFC Championship game which will be next week between them and either the Seahawks or the Carolina Panthers. It has been my thought all year long that if the Cardinals and the Seahawks could meet in the NFC Championship game, it would be the best situation I could ever want for the season. Of course, I believe the Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl again, so I'm holding my breath for today's game in Carolina. Go Seahawks!

We have been in contact with our friend Donna from Jackson and she has been filling us in on happenings with the new management team at the Virginian Lodge. Not everything is sounding rosy for this year and we are getting a bit nervous about working with this new management team. Her opinion is that there will be problems and she is not happy with the way things are going. There are many other opportunities for us to look into, but the Virginian Lodge is our preferred location right now, and the one we are committed to at the moment. We'll see how it goes over the next couple of weeks...
