Staying Close to Home

Our plans for our days off this week have to change a little bit since we need to be on call to help out if Chi Chi (Manager) needs us. His wife (Jamie) is on a trip to Montana to visit their first grandchild and isn't coming home until Friday. We have to be available to fill in for her if necessary.

We plan a brief trip to Flagstaff Wednesday AM to do some necessary stuff. Bob has a minor hardware problem with his laptop and needs to go to Best Buy and have their "Geeks" take a look at it, Josie "needs" to get her nails done and we have the usual grocery needs. That should only take us away for a few hours though. See, we had an arrangement when we were in the Valley that Bob got to play golf once a week and Josie had here nails done. Bob doesn't play golf here but Josie still gets to have her nails done. Hmm.

It still is amazing to see the wide temperature swings here. Again, it went down to 34 yesterday AM but our high was 81. Nearly a 50 degree swing. We have the heater on in the morning, and sometimes we have the air conditioner on in the afternoon. That won't last too long though as the forecast is for it to warm up again so the mornings will only go down to 50. It feels good though and the temperature rises rapidly when the sun comes up.

The impact of the schools starting again is certainly evident. The only time we will see any kids is on the weekends and that really makes for a quiet park. We kind of miss them though. Later...
