Naperville Christkindlmarket

The order of business yesterday was to attend the annual Naperville Chriskindlmarket in downtown Naperville. This is an annual event that runs for the month between Thanksgiving and Christmas and is in downtown Naperville. It is an event that is very unique and is not to be missed. There are so many interesting and unique gift items, from ornaments to crafts to food items that cannot be found anywhere else. Following are some shots from our visit:

It was a fun time and an experience that we will not forget. We picked up a couple nice souvenirs of the event and even had some spiced wine in Christkindlmarket mugs that we brought home.

Another big event from yesterday was the arrival of Austin's new car that was promised for his graduation from Western Michigan University - his new Jeep Grand Cherokee:

We began to get a little concerned this morning about the weather forecast for the Chicago area for tomorrow. It appears that a winter storm front is moving this way and we are watching it closely to make sure it doesn't impact our flight for tomorrow. Our fingers are crossed...
