We spent almost the entire day going through boxes marked Christmas and deciding which items to keep packed and in the garage. The ones we kept out were placed around the house and the empty boxes taken back to the garage. The problem we had was that almost all of our decorations were in our storage unit for years and we bought new decorations over the years when we couldn't get easy access to the main decorations. That has created a situation where we now have a "mega" amount of decorations. Asking Josie to get rid of anything is not a good approach to solving the dilemma.
Wrapping up the project is on today's agenda along with gathering our clothes that we expect to take to Chicago on Wednesday. Josie will get everything cleaned today so we can begin packing our bag. We will have to leave here at 4 AM on Wednesday to allow enough time to get to our 6:15AM flight. I'm sure that all airports will be like a zoo on Wednesday, so we will need to have patience during the entire day. I will also get our boarding passes printed on Tuesday morning, 24 hours before our flight.
This will most likely be our final visit to Naperville. Hopefully, Patty and family will be relocating to Arizona next summer so we look forward to that happy occasion...
