Yesterday was a disappointment on several fronts. Starting with our landscaping project. No work was accomplished as the landscaper had to transport all of the material himself from the source to our project. Actually, it was his choice to save the expense of a delivery fee. I understand the reasons for wanting to save the fee as he gave us a super price for the total project. The problem is that, as a result, the entire day was wasted as far as production. They are all out there this morning getting a head start on the day which is a good sign.
Josie received her first paycheck yesterday and it didn't match what she had agreed to with the owner. She needs to have a discussion with her asap to get it straightened out. The problem there is that the owner is ill and is very rarely available. An attempt will be made this morning to connect with her. Josie is off today, so that might be a little tricky. Whatever the result of that connection, the job is very good and the relationships are solid. It will all work out.
I hope to have some photos and better news for tomorrow...
