We are still talking with the people in Cody and the manager at the small Hostel in Gardiner, MT. The job in MT is so different from what we have been used to working that it is a little scary. Every day would be different and the hours are all over the place. The attraction is that it is a (relatively) small operation and is in a very nice area - on the river, 10 miles north of the North Gate at Yellowstone. The other opportunity in Cody is a familiar one, even though our duties would be different from our previous experience there in 2010. It also is in a very nice location. We hope to get closer to a decision today.
The other activity yesterday was regarding some new equipment I got for our computers. I am trying to install a Personal Cloud device and create a home network for all of our pictures, files and documents that would be easier to manage with that solution. I am having problems setting it up and will call their support lines today for help. What I thought would be a simple installation has turned out to be a major effort. It's not what I thought it would be, but anything that seems easy always turns out to be a challenge. The concept and end result should be worth the effort, but I will pitch-it in an instant and return the equipment if it becomes a nightmare.
Josie is back to work today for two days before a stretch of 5 days working in a row. Also, today is the magic day when our tenants move into our house. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this is the start of a pleasant relationship...
