Sunday's are so predictable here. We get the checkouts in the morning and the afternoon is filled with people using the dump station. It is hard to imagine the number of people that come up here and take their rigs into the back woods for the weekend. And, we don't get everybody in here to dump their rigs before either putting them back in storage or taking them back home to the Phoenix area. The number of people though is starting to drop off as the season winds down and more schools start.
We had rave reviews from all those involved in the wedding over the weekend. This is a great place to hold such an event. Even though they didn't use the chapel here, they said the staff and facilities were excellent and they would recommend Happy Jack Lodge to anyone looking for a good wedding experience. We also found out that the bride is pregnant. Hmm.
The weather was gorgeous yesterday - 79 high, 43 low. There wasn't a cloud in the sky all day and this morning has also dawned cloudless. We had some wind in the afternoon but that is normal for here. Our day today is one of the short ones - 8 AM to 2 PM. It promises to be a fairly slow day so we're glad it is one of the shorter work days. That's about it for today...
