Mooseville

It appears that the family of moose in our area have made our campground their home. Almost every day, we see some or all of the family - the huge bull elk and the large cow and her two calves which are about fully grown now. These shots show how fearless these animals are and the fact that they aren't bothered by human activity around them:



and these where one of the calves walked right next to our truck:



The bull was seen in the field, grazing, just outside the campground yesterday AM as we were leaving for work. We didn't stop to take photos because he was a bit far away from us and we didn't want to be late for work. I'm sure there will be other opportunities to capture this huge bull on camera again.

We plan to drive through some areas today that we know have produced pretty photos of the changing seasons in the past. Hopefully, we will have some good ones to show tomorrow...
