Church and Visit to Halloween Store

The first thing we did yesterday was visit the church where the twins go to school to see Brandon give his prayer passage during their weekly Mass. The (beautiful) church is next to the school, so it's just a short walk for the classes to attend:

We didn't get a shot of Brandon, but he delivered his passage without a hitch and the service ended after about 35 minutes. We did a few errands during the day and ended up in the afternoon at a unique Halloween store that is just down the street from here, called Spirit Halloween:

It is unbelievable how far Halloween has come over the last 10 years or so. There were more animated, battery operated Zombies, Monsters and Creeps than I've ever seen in one place. People can literally set up a stage full of these characters and scare the daylights out of anybody that walks past. Even the masks are realistic:

Of course, nobody would know who is wearing the mask - right?

Today is the day for Austin's team to show that last week was a fluke. They have a game tonight with one of the weaker teams in the conference and it is suppose to be a one sided contest for his team to win - we hope. We have been waiting to see the "real" team show up. Hopefully, we'll have good news and some good shots of the "victory" to show tomorrow.

The house cleaning people have arrived here so I better end the post for now so that we can clear out of their way. More tomorrow...
