Very Short Day

Our shortest work day of the week was yesterday and we were thankful for that. Because I worked the first 2 1/2 hour shift before Josie came in, I escaped the wrath of our manager Mary. I felt bad for Josie having to listen to her nitpick over some small transactions we had in the morning. We are looking in earnest for a new place. I really don't like talking about the people we work with in any negative way, but this situation is so bad that it is impossible not to. We are both stressed over the treatment they give us - and all the other employees. We'll keep you posted on any changes.

We had a rare occurrence yesterday. It rained like buckets in Portland and we never received a drop which broke our string of 9 consecutive "wet" days. There has been no rain yet today, so we hope it will be nice for the holiday weekend. There is a small rally coming in - 10 rigs - and the park will otherwise be filled to the brim with other campers. It will be the first time we've had a crowd this size since we arrived.

Our plans are not finalized yet as we have a few errands to run today and we will relax a bit from the stressful week. Our rig needs to be washed to get rid of the salt so that will probably be one of the chores in the next 2 days. Until tomorrow...
