Patty's flight from Chicago arrived on time yesterday - actually, a little early - and we were back at the house by around 12:30 PM. After getting settled and going to the store for a few last minute items, we ordered the pizzas from a new (to us) pizza place in Sun City West which was only 10 minutes from the house. Florencia Pizza had great reviews, so we gave it a try.
Patty and I went to pick up the pizzas at 4:15 PM so that we could have them home when our guests arrived. Our other guests - George, Cheryl, Brian and Amy and family - all arrived between 4:30 and 5 PM. We immediately had the pizzas and the reviews were very good. It looks like we will again get pizza from this location in the future. Once again, I forgot to get photos of the evening but we had a fun time visiting and now everybody has been to our new house.
The plan for today is to do local stuff at the rec center and to visit the Pottery Place in Surprise where Patty wants to go to see the great selection of pottery and other outside items. For dinner tonight, I will do a pot roast in the instant pot. Yes, I will do the cooking. A report on that will be in tomorrow's entry...
