If Monday wasn't hot enough, we had another record set yesterday - 116. Hang on, because we expect another record high today.
I went to my Audiologist yesterday to get one of my hearing aids checked and the earpiece has a problem so it was sent back to the factory. While there, my Audiologist said she has lived here for 24 years and this year the summer has been a problem for her for the first time. Some relief is expected starting tomorrow - just in time for our visit with Patty.
We also took a drive to the American Furniture Warehouse to pick up a couple side tables for our family room. It was close to Avondale, so we made a visit to our old home in Crystal Gardens. That was a very nice home and we took these shots to update the changes - which aren't too many:
It's nice sometimes to reminisce about good times we had at other locations.
There is a lot of last minute effort required to get things in order for Patty's visit beginning Friday. The heat has not been a friend in our attempt to get things done. We start on a project and then have to sit down and drink a bottle of water before continuing. Then, we don't feel much like continuing. The cooler temperatures will arrive just in time to get us going...
