115!!!

Yes, it was 115 yesterday to set the first record for the week. The old record of 114 is history and it is only the beginning. Today will equal or set another record as will tomorrow. There isn't a whole lot that you can do when the weather gets like this except stay inside.

We went out for a short time in the morning and then spent the rest of the day inside watching shows we had taped on TV. Today will be much like yesterday and we have no plans to go anywhere. I watered our plants extra early this morning and the overnight temperature never got below 90 so it seemed like it was later. Some of our plants are showing the effects of the hot weather as even sun loving plants are starting to show brown, baked edges. I feel sorry that our cars have to sit out in these temperatures but we have no choice. All we can do is to make the best of the situation...
