We made more, slow progress yesterday. The boxes are about cleared from the family room and living room, but the bedrooms and garage are another story. Also, clearing out the boxes doesn't mean the rooms are ready. Much of what was taken from the boxes sits on the tables, counters and on the hutch. I will go into the garage today and try to open a path to our storage cabinets so we can get rid of the "junk" that was left behind and begin using that valuable space for our own stuff (more junk?).
We made a couple trips to the Salvation Army drop location and got rid of some more unnecessary items. It is hard to part with some of the things we have had for 40 plus years, but we know some hard choices must be made. If we haven't used it for many years, we probably don't need to save it.
We went to the AT & T store in the morning and got cases for our new phones, made a few adjustments on the phones and picked up a "free" hotspot to use.
The Royal Wedding was a part time viewing experience for us but we taped the entire wedding and will watch all the events sometime. It was a terrific occasion and very emotional at times.
I missed the Preakness horse race yesterday and saw that Justify won the second leg of the Triple Crown and will go for it in the Belmont Stakes in several weeks. I'm sure I will somehow get to watch the final race.
It's more of the same today, but the stress level is diminishing and we are catching up on sleep...
