Getting Around

Even though we have been to many of the places that we will frequent regularly, we are finding the shortest and best ways to get there. There are many trips to Goodwill and the Salvation Army that we will take, probably on a regular basis for the entire summer. We made another one to Goodwill yesterday, and will load up for another one today. Also on the agenda yesterday was another trip to our RV to get the rest of the can goods and some other things that were left before the trip to the RV  storage unit.

We are starting to create a big stack of empty boxes which is a good sign. The biggest problem is going to be finding places to put things. The closets and the garage are filling up fast and it reminds us that we need to get rid of a lot more things than we thought. That is a good thing as we have been needing to downsize for a long time. If we can just get one of the charitable organizations to come soon and take away some the large items that we don't need, we should be OK.

There are bunches of pictures that the previous owners left behind that we will not use. Some of them are very nice, so we will probably try to find a place in the garage to keep some of them and the rest will go to charity. We are replacing them with our own pictures that we haven't seen for quite awhile.

We are not yet on the downside of this mountain, but we are getting closer to the summit and it shouldn't be too long before we can say the end is in sight...
