It was a disappointing last few days for all Seahawks fans. One of the main links to the great defense - Michael Bennett - was traded to the Eagles. God bless the Eagles. And, the great all-pro defensive back - Richard Sherman - was released. He has had both Achilles heels repaired and the Seahawks don't believe he can deliver $11 million worth of annual production anymore. He will be missed. I guess these things always happen with all teams, but it is difficult to see how these holes will be filled. It is that time of the year when most teams make adjustments to remain strong. There have been many key changes, including most coaches, that should make it an interesting year for the Seahawks.
We are going to visit houses today with a realtor in Sun City. There are several that we want to view as possibilities for our next home and represents one of the options we are looking at for the future. There are lots of things happening now as far as planning for our next move. Our home sale is moving along and we hope to keep the April 2 closing date. That is only about three weeks away. The window is closing to get decisions finalized for the summer season. One day, you may be reading about our plans as they become finalized...
