We were welcomed to work yesterday with the announcement of a couple staffing changes. One lady that we worked with last year - Linda - suddenly quit over what we understand to be issues between her and our manager. Another staff member quit on only her second day. She was hired with what appears to be only a phone interview and it turns out she is pregnant and due in two weeks. Sheesh. So, we are preparing for some tough days until the staffing issues are resolved. We don't mind working through these issues, so we will just continue on the way we are.
Our schedule is pretty much set now, even with the above issues. Monday and Tuesday will still be our days off and we will open on two days and close on the other three. We kind of like having the mornings free on the three days that we close. Our starting time on those days is 11 AM.
Our manager gave us complimentary passes to our favorite nighttime activity in town - the dinner and show at the Bar J Wranglers. This is their 40th year performing the show. The passes are good for any show during June so we will be scheduling that night pretty soon. Right now, we are looking forward to our next weekend starting on Monday...
