We are already getting the heavy rain from the first of two storm fronts that are forecast to come through this area. The one we are getting this morning is not the wettest - or coldest - of the storms coming through. So, it looks like anything that needs to be done outside - errands or shopping - will be done in lousy weather right up to Christmas Day. It still beats snow and frigid temperatures.
The areas around Dallas are getting hit pretty hard this week by some of these storm fronts. As long as they all clear out before New Year's. The long range forecast for that area is for improving weather - but that is still a long way off for getting accurate forecasts. We will be prepared for everything for our trip: rain, snow, cold or whatever.
That's about it for today. There isn't much happening between now and Christmas, so take it easy everybody...
