Most of the day yesterday was spent doing some Christmas shopping and baking cookies. Josie will send a couple tins full of cookies to WA in the box containing a few other items for the kids to open on Christmas morning. I will take the final package to the post office before the start of next week after Josie gets everything together. We still haven't finished deciding on handling the "Chicago boys" gifts, but we will also have that figured out before next week.
It was so nice yesterday - 74 - that we sat outside for awhile to enjoy the day. There are a couple more days like yesterday still in store for this week and then it cools down with a storm expected by the weekend. Our weather is still so much better than what we are seeing in the Northwest, and especially in the Chicago area. These shots were sent to us by Patty yesterday taken out her back door:
