Cotton Bowl Activities

We are beginning to see some of the activities that surround the Cotton Bowl. Patty sent us a copy of the invitation (photo below) to the Cotton Bowl Kickoff Breakfast which will take place on January1, the day before the game:

We have talked about some possible plans for New Year's Eve, so I hope we are able to get up early enough on New Year's Day (ha). I'm sure there will be many more activities and gatherings that we will be attending. The excitement continues to build.

The Seahawks won the NFC West Title last night (24-3) against a nemesis of theirs - the LA Rams - who beat them earlier this season, 9-3. It wasn't the blowout that I anticipated, but it was an impressive win anyway. To be fair, the Rams had a new coach and a new quarterback, so they were not fully prepared for the matchup. Unfortunately, the Seahawk win eliminated, officially, any chances that the Cardinals could make the playoffs. This is five years straight that the Seahawks have made the playoffs.

Josie is off today, works tomorrow and has Sunday off for her final days off before Christmas. The question mark is how late she will have to work on Christmas Eve Day. In the meantime, we will do our best to prepare for our trip and enjoy the Christmas spirit...
